My story
In 2019, I was diagnosed with GPA, a chronic autoimmune illness that changed my life—and ultimately changed the way I saw my health, my body and the power of movement.
I changed my diet, my lifestyle and, most importantly, the way I loved and cared for my body. As I trained and worked toward better health, I discovered that movement could build more than physical strength—it could rebuild confidence, create resilience and help me feel at home in myself again. That journey inspired me to give back.
I began teaching young athletes in 2025 and watched a small group grow into a supportive community of more than 50 children and teens. I love working with kids because I see their potential to be proactive about their well-being, find confidence within themselves and experience the joy of healing through movement.
The dedication I see in young athletes keeps me going. Growing minds need movement: it supports focus, body awareness, emotional well-being and the confidence to take on new challenges. My goal is to give every child a welcoming place to move, grow and discover just how strong they can be.
I currently coach Pilates fitness for PDM Basketball in Oakville, helping youth athletes ages 11–17 build mobility, core control, recovery skills and confidence to support their performance on and off the court.
